COLTON® Wins Gold at The Nationals℠ Awards 2026

COLTON® has earned one of the homebuilding industry’s highest honors, receiving a 2025 Gold Award at The Nationals℠ Awards presented by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

The award was announced February 18, 2026, during the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, where COLTON was recognized for Best Use of Technology for its immersive community launch event, “A Taste of COLTON”. Hosted by NAHB’s National Sales and Marketing Council, The Nationals honor the industry’s top achievements in new home sales, marketing, design, planning, and customer experience across North America.

Selected from more than 1,100 entries and evaluated by a distinguished panel of industry experts, Gold Award winners represent the highest level of innovation, creativity, and execution in the field.

COLTON’s award-winning initiative was a VIP immersive experience designed to introduce the master-planned community before a single model home or street had been constructed – reshaping the industry’s approach to how visionary communities are brought to market. The event was first recognized with a 2025 Silver Award from The Nationals℠ for Best Use of Technology, earning its place among the finalists for Gold at The Nationals℠.

Rather than relying on traditional renderings or video presentations, the team transformed a state-of-the-art projection facility into a fully enveloping 180-degree cinematic environment. Three towering 20-foot-tall, 70-foot-wide walls surrounded guests with synchronized visuals and sound – from leaves rustling in the breeze to the unmistakable roar of Friday night lights. Builders explored planned amenities through virtual reality, and in a dramatic finale, the Phase 1 site plan was projected directly onto the floor, allowing attendees to stand within the vision and experience the scale of the development lot by lot.

The evening was further enhanced with locally inspired cuisine, Texas-made takeaways, and carefully curated details that reflected the spirit and ambition of the COLTON brand.

This marks another milestone for COLTON, who recently was awarded Master Planned Community Project of the Year by Houston Agent Magazine. With its Gold win, COLTON continues to set a new benchmark for innovation in community storytelling and experiential marketing.
