On January 5, 2026, Magnolia ISD hosted its annual Teacher Pop-Up Shop, and once again, it was a day filled with gratitude, connection, and support for the educators who give so much to their students. Teachers and classroom paraprofessionals from across the district came together at the Magnolia Event Center to pick up much-needed classroom supplies, reconnect with fellow educators, and feel the appreciation they truly deserve.

For the third year in a row, COLTON® by AIRIA Development® Company was proud to sponsor the event through its Big and Bright Futures initiative. Supporting educators and giving back to the Magnolia community continues to be an important part of COLTON’s mission.

The Teacher Pop-Up Shop event was created in 2024 to help ease the financial burden many educators face when purchasing classroom supplies. Studies show that teachers spend an average of around $100 each year on additional classroom materials to support their students, and this event helps offset those costs by providing essential materials at no charge.

More than 600 Teachers from across the district stopped by throughout the day until it wrapped up at 2:00 p.m. From the start, the energy in the room was contagious. Colleagues greeted one another, laughter echoed throughout the space, and excitement filled the room as educators had the opportunity to shop for essential classroom supplies and fill their bags with items carefully selected to support their work in the classroom.

Rows of tables were filled with much-needed supplies, including paper products, organizational tools, classroom resources, snacks, and items to help keep students engaged.

Dedicated volunteers were on hand throughout the day, helping with checkouts, answering questions, and keeping everything running smoothly. A special thank-you also goes to Amelia Lindley, Magnolia ISD’s Community Relations Coordinator, whose thoughtful planning and hands-on coordination helped make the event successful and enjoyable for everyone involved.

In the spirit of supporting local educators, we once again added a special touch to this year’s event. After last year’s 2,000 COLTON-branded #2 pencils were such a hit, we expanded the giveaway to 4,000 pencils – ensuring even more teachers left with a small but meaningful classroom essential.

Supporting the school districts that serve our residents has always been central to how we build communities,” said Lisa Connell, Marketing Director for AIRIA Development Company, developer of COLTON. “From ALIANA and ARTAVIA to COLTON, we remain committed to creating programs that positively support Magnolia ISD and the educators who make a difference every day.

As the event wrapped up, teachers left the Magnolia Event Center carrying bags full of supplies, smiling from ear to ear, and feeling energized as they headed back to their campuses.

We are honored to support Magnolia ISD for the third year in a row and look forward to continuing to uplift educators through our Big and Bright Futures initiative.

To all Magnolia ISD teachers and classroom paraprofessionals, thank you for everything you do. We are proud to support you and the important work you do for our community.
