There’s undeniable excitement in the air as Magnolia ISD celebrates the opening of two incredible new campuses: Magnolia Parkway Intermediate and Magnolia Parkway Junior High School. COLTON was honored to be invited to both ceremonies, standing alongside students, families, educators, and local leaders as the district proudly welcomed everyone into these beautiful new schools.
On September 24th, the Magnolia Parkway Intermediate School “officially” opened its doors in a spectacular ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests enjoyed an uplifting performance by the 6th-grade choir and heard remarks from district leaders before the ribbon was cut and the school officially welcomed its first students. This new school, designed with the latest educational technologies and learning spaces, serves 5th and 6th-grade students, providing a cutting-edge environment for them to learn, grow, and explore.
Just weeks later, on October 29th, the community gathered once more to celebrate the opening of the Magnolia Parkway Junior High. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as families and staff toured the new facility, eager to see where their students will grow into confident, independent learners. The school band performed, and district leaders shared inspiring messages about the bright future of Magnolia ISD and the importance of supporting students during middle-school years. With spacious classrooms, innovative instructional spaces, and areas designed for teamwork and creativity, the new junior high serves 7th- and 8th-grade students and help them thrive academically, socially, and personally. The campus also features a state-of-the-art gymnasium and athletic facilities, giving students ample opportunities to build teamwork, school spirit, and healthy habits through sports and physical education.
For COLTON residents, these new schools represent meaningful progress and strengthen the already deep sense of pride within the community. Parents can rest assured knowing that their children are receiving a first-rate education at schools that are both close by and equipped with the latest resources to support their success at every stage of their academic journey.
