COLTON is delighted to introduce Teryn Walley as the community’s Lifestyle Director. With her rich background in event coordination, community leadership, and a lifetime of Texas traditions, Teryn is the perfect fit to lead lifestyle programming in a quintessential Texas community like COLTON.
A proud Texas A&M University graduate, Teryn earned her Bachelor of Science in Leadership with minors in Psychology and Youth Development. She has professional experience in floral design, wedding and event coordination, and leadership within college ministry programs. All of which shaped her expertise in creating memorable, meaningful experiences that bring people together.
With deep Texan roots, Teryn spent her days fishing in Matagorda Bay, working alongside her family on South Texas cattle ranches, and enjoying the breathtaking wildflower blooms each spring. These deep Texas roots have given her an authentic appreciation for tradition, connection, and natural beauty; all values she now brings to COLTON’s lifestyle program.
Powered by Risher Amenity Management, Teryn will be dedicated to crafting tried-and-true traditions for COLTON residents while also introducing fresh, innovative experiences. Whether it’s forming new clubs, organizing activities tailored to resident interests, or simply creating welcoming spaces for neighbors to connect, she is committed to making COLTON a place where relationships flourish and new experiences begin.
For over 30 years, Risher has been a leader in community enrichment, with a proven track record in management, customer service, and hospitality. Their mission is to create vibrant, engaging communities where residents thrive socially, physically, and emotionally.

Outside of her professional role, Teryn enjoys life’s simple pleasures: exploring the outdoors, testing new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. She brings that same spirit of warmth, creativity, and connection to her work at COLTON.
